We are not Dead!!!On Sunday, this fearless foursome completed the Shoreline Triathlon at Hamlin Beach, Lake Ontario. We swam 1/2 mile in the lake, biked 16 miles and ran 4. Erik was a superstar and finished the race in a competitive 1 hour and 44 minutes. Lauren came in an impressive 13th place for women in the swim. Chris and I got the exact same time for the bike even though I have had way more time to train. It was a perfect day and we all had a ton of fun.
Our groupies included Jonathan Ivers, the Scherer parents/grandparents, the Greece Brents, Aunt Nancy and Mimi, and the Guarnara family. Oh, and our darling Liam and Oliver who still expected to be fed after the race. Clearly babies have no empathy for working moms.
